Artist’s Note: It took me nearly four years to finish my Rainbow series, so I’m very happy to finally offer you the last part, plus the complete series as a rainbow banner. After noticing that there’s hardly any eye contact between our guys in the first five parts, I made this last piece all about that; the title, All I See Is You comes from Stan Rogers’s beautiful song “Forty-Five Years” (https://youtu.be/1Zg2sniQ0Ss), and hey, isn’t that fitting, 2020 being Starsky & Hutch‘s 45th anniversary?
SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! It is beautiful! So much beautiful! Amazing and my favorite color in the background. Squeeeeeeeeee!
Thank you! The color made me think of you.
What a beautiful piece to complete your Rainbow Series! This is perfect and so full of love! I love everything about this: the forehead touch, the eye contact, the contrast of the shirts they have on, Starsky’s hand under Hutch’s shirt, and are they wearing the same brand of jeans? Thank you, Mortmere, for your stunning talent!
Thank you for your comment, Lisa! Yes, they are wearing the same brand of jeans, Chemin de Fer, as they often do in the show.
Perfect!
Thank you!
Thank you so much, Mortmere, for this image and for the whole series. It’s so full of love. Beautiful.
You’re welcome! I’m glad the love shows there.
Yes, yes, yes! Love, love, love! So nice, and you are right, the eye contect is just what this last piece needed. Fantastic! Thank you!
Thank you for your enthusiasm! I’m happy to hear you think the eye contact was a good choice for this piece.
As usual you come up with another work of art my lovely-I so love this-says it all along with the song xxxxx
Thanks, Hilly! This piece wouldn’t have turned out as effortlessly as it did without the song to inspire me. Stan Rogers is a singer worth getting to know better.
So lovely. Especially the forehead touch. Thank you!
Thank you, Kate!
This is simply gorgeous!
Full of love, so sweet and purple, one of my colours 😉 Perfection!
Thank you for this beautiful gift
Thank you, I’m so happy to hear you like it! <3
I don’t even have words to express how much I love this. It’s simply perfect. Their forehead touch; their eye contact; their smiles; their soft, comfy shirts (two of my faves on them); the black, white and denim against the purple background; the way their arms are around each other; how they’re pressed together so comfortably, and the Chemin de Fer jeans! It is the most perfect expression of love.
Thank you for this exquisite gift.
Aww, thank you, Lauren, your comment is exquisite, too. How delightful that you noticed and remembered their jeans brand – I’m happy my detective work with that wasn’t in vain. 🙂
oh, just wanted to add…that any gifts I get tomorrow in “real life” will pale in comparison to this beautiful gift of S&H’s love.
Awww again – but I hope somebody proved you wrong!
Such love. Such trust. Such devotion. Such TALENT, to be able to show us all those things! Masterfully done, Mortmere. Thank you.
I’m happy to hear you can see all that in the picture, Pat. You’re most welcome.
Absolutely, positively stunning! Thanks for this marvelous gift.
You’re very welcome, Maria!
So very lovely!!!
I am so in awe of your talents!
Sigh…perfect!!

And may Christmas bring you peace, love, and blessings!
KUDOS
Thank you, Nancy! I hope you’ve had a wonderful Christmas!
Absolutely beautiful! Everything about it is just perfect, especially the forehead touching
Thank you, Donna!
Beautiful work with beautiful boys. I love this. Thank you!
You’re welcome, Kat!
Mortmere, your art is awe-inspiring. The mood, the tenderness, their bodies, their facial expressions. How you capture them so vividly and memorably is enchanting.
Thank you, Ursula! I’m always pleased to hear you enjoy my work!
It’s stunning!
Thank you!
So much love and tender feeling in this beautiful artwork. The song adds much, but even if you hadn’t titled it, we would know 💖 Thank you, M!
Thank you for the lovely comment, Baby! <3
I love purple, I love S&H, and I love the concept you came up for this series of artworks. I admit I was curious what you’d do with this last color, and this is perfect! Facing each other, opposites but intwined and holding each other. It has such a tenderness and sense of balance and strength. On the surface, simpler than many of the other pieces in this series, but the simplicity and boldness makes it the perfect ending. And I’m not sure “simpler” is even right, because there are a lot of great details here – their different jeans, their expressions, Starsky’s hand tucked under Hutch’s shirt! Gorgeous!
Thank you, Monica – and sorry for the late reply! It really warms my heart to hear your detailed thoughts of this piece! <3
