Anything that starts with one pound of butter is brilliant!
Oh, recipes. And good ones.
Flamngo, as an Italian, we stlll make these. We call them “butterballs” or sometimes wedding cookies, since every aunt and grandma makes them to put out for a wedding. 🙂
We used to get these from an Italian bakery in Brooklyn. Now, the only way to get them is to make them, and we do it every Christmas. They’re St. Anne’s favorites.
These cookies sound so good! Now I just need someone to make them for me… 😉
