Jacobson put his pool cue back into the rack and pulled on his jacket, declaring,” I’m gonna call it a night. I’ve lost enough of my money to you two. Macer, you ready to head out? Let’s give Starsky and Hutch a chance to get themselves a room. They been hangin’ on each other all night.” He gave Hutch a wink to indicate he was only kidding him, but it annoyed him just the same.
“Ah Jacobson, you’re just jealous that we kicked your ass tonight,” Starsky smiled. He was leaning into Hutch as he counted his cash winnings from the other two police officers. He passed half of the money to his partner. “Don’t worry. We’ll give you a chance to win it back next week.”

My thanks to Kaye Austen Michaels for her wonderful fic, and for her gracious permission to record. This podfic marks my return to the mic after over two years away, yet she has been nothing but positive and encouraging as I attempted to shake off the dust and the rust and relearn the process. In the light of day, Gus Stone’s low-slung office building looked unassuming. Harmless. But Starsky had found that appearances don’t tell the whole story. Gus’s modest yet serviceable work space was a far cry from his luxurious house and exclusive parties, set apart from the hard-working people who bled to support his lavish lifestyle.
Starsky paused and swallowed hard outside the door to Stone’s office. He hadn’t been called in and he hadn’t made an appointment. But such protocol wasn’t about to stop him. His mind was made up.

December 13th- Opening Doors by Dawnwind
Hutch didn’t bother knocking before letting himself in to Starsky’s place. He could barely push the door open wide enough to get inside. A large box overflowing with tinsel, ornaments and other Christmas paraphernalia sat right in the middle of the foyer.
“Starsky, what is all this?” Hutch grumbled, trying to get past without tripping over the box.
“Christmas decorations!” Starsky said over his shoulder. “For the Big Brother, Big Sister party tomorrow night. Molly and Kiko are coming over later to help me haul it all over to the community center.”
