Ha! So great! Thank you for this excellent fun. I still chuckle to myself when I think about the one you shared last year. Now I will have another unforgettable image to make me happy.
L’Chaim! Awesome version of the old chestnut–and as everyone else said, THE HAIR. Starsky looked terrific with that much hair, they all did. Guess that was Starsky’s grandfather on the drums?
My ol’ computer is so ancient, and my cable speed so sloooooow, it tells me it’ll take hours to download, so I guess I’ll have to be content with the image. That alone will keep me in stitches for days! Beautiful, F. Thanks so much.
Pat, that vid is only a megabyte. That’s not very big. A lot of times the system will tell you it will take hours to download when fifteen minutes later it says ten more minutes. Set it to download overnight when you’re not using it and it’ll be waiting for you in the morning. I think you’ll enjoy it. Let me know if it works out. If it doesn’t I might be able to compress it to a smaller size for you.
You were absolutely correct, F! I started the download, figuring it’d do it’s thing while I was at the studio today. Came back, ready to turn the monitor off, and, guess what? The ‘two hours’ predicted hadn’t taken twelve minutes. I’ll never believe my computer again!
I’ll never understand how you do these magical things. But that doesn’t matter; the end result is magical in and of itself! This was hilarious (even though I don’t know the song, or even, I hesitate to admit this, the group). Dobey’s deadpan expression, Huggy ‘hitching’ across the stage, Hutch’s ‘hook ’em horns’ gesture, Starsky and Hutch’s guitar duel; it was all marvelous. And, as I think others have said, “the hair”! Wonderful stuff, Flamingo. Thanks so much for putting this together and giving us all such a treat!!!!!!!!!!
Hilarious! I went to a friend’s house so I could watch this video. My computer can’t watch vids. She heard me laughing hysterically and came into the den to watch it on her laptop. Kazumi made me play it twice so we could laugh. She’s not even a Starsky & Hutch fan and she loved this. Great job!
Ms Flamingo, that was so funny. Thank you so much for making me laugh so hard my face hurts! Wonderful. You are so very talented.
And while I have the floor… errr. box… let me say thank you, for accepting my story for this calendar. I feel so honored as I am reading other’s postings. Hard to believe mine qualified to be amongst such august authors.
And thank you, also, or your elves for the AWESOME pic you paired with my story. I almost cried, because it was exactly how I saw it in my mind when I wrote that line.
Thank you, for your kindness and tenderness toward a rookie like me.
Sorry for the late posting. I finally got some days off in a row and get to run through all the days I missed.
And here I was having trouble getting into the holiday spirit… 😉
Hee, that’s wonderfully weird and weirdly wonderful – thanks for making me laugh! 😀
OMG! That hair; those expressions! I couldn’t keep my eyes off of Starsky. 😉
Ha! So great! Thank you for this excellent fun. I still chuckle to myself when I think about the one you shared last year. Now I will have another unforgettable image to make me happy.
All that hair! :DDD I couldn’t take my eyes off of Starsky’s hair.
I so wish S&H had written those hair styles for at least one episode! 😀

That was PMG starring as Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof, a role he played for a year in the UK. You can see clips of it on YouTube.
But you knew that, didn’t you?
Thank you so much. I was having a less-than-stellar day, and this made me laugh. And really, Starsky was mesmerizing. 😀
I’m scared now… LOL! That was ah, fun. *snicker* Thanks!

That was really, really funny. And disturbing. And funny. More hair than the 70s! Completely cracked me up. Thanks so much for posting.
