    I love that Tattoo.

So, I’m not schooled in tattoo symbolism. I thought this one meant a love betrayed, very painful. But then (after I looked it up) I learned that it can also be a symbol meaning “I’m willing to kill for you”. All the lovely flowers here makes me think it’s more like “until death do us part”. Gorgeous.

Thank you, sweetie. Tattoos can have so many meanings. Everyone interprets things differently. My own interpretation is “For whom the heart bleeds” and our hearts bleed for Starsky and Hutch. But the willing to kill, and your until death both work also. The dagger in the heart also appeals to my dark side-lol. I don’t do stock tattoos, I have 3 and I designed each one because they all mean something personal to me and me alone.

  3. Spencer says:

“I’m willing to kill for you.” BAMF Squeeee!

  4. Kat says:

Hey, I can go with “I’m willing to kill for you” also! Thanks. Very cool.

Ah! Heart and dagger tattoo! Love it! I can see them killing for each other…definitely! Thank you for this cool graphic.

I am so sad that I am afraid of needles. I know, I know… I’m a nurse, but I am on the GIVING side of the needles, not the receiving! If I weren’t so scared, I would seriously think about one like this!
    Thank you for sharing!

You’re welcome. I’m one of those who actually enjoys the tattoo process. I have three, and can honestly say they didn’t hurt that much. I have a high threshold of pain and needles don’t phase me. I actually watch when needles go into my body, I love acupuncture. Though the only piercings I have are my ears, twice. The tat around my wrist hurt slightly, with the upper back second, and the lower back actually tickled, honest! My tattoo artist says I’m not normal, but I knew that already-lol. I would have many more if I had the cash. It’s a shame that you don’t feel able to face your fear and go for it. Maybe a tiny one on your shoulder first, just to see if you can do it. That way, you won’t see the equipment.

I’ll have to think about it. My high school friends HELD me in the chair to get my ears pierced! ONCE! LOL

        • wightfaerie says:

For me, the ear piercings hurt more than the tattoos! But then, I’m a pain junkie, in many ways. Headaches and toothache almost kill me-lol.

Wow, this is a gorgeous tattoo. I know what you mean about the process of getting tattoos, it’s quite fascinating. I have 5 tats, none as stunning as this one, however.
But I do have one going down the back of my neck that uses Chinese characters to spell out Me & Thee Forever.

    • wightfaerie says:

It is lovely. I have a version of this with the heart, my own choice of one Japanese flower shaded like our favourite carnation and a dove, with Chinese writing saying mum and Sam, but not the dagger or banner. I also have a moon and star one, and a beaded bracelet with a love heart with my mum’s first initial in her handwriting inside the heart. My artist traced it from her signature.

Gorgeous tat. I gave the guys matching Me and Thee tats in one of my stories. Cool idea.

    • wightfaerie says:

Thank you. I don’t think I’ve read that story. I gave Hutch a belly piercing in one, but can’t remember if I ever gave him a tattoo. Guess I’d better read my own stories–lol.

      • mvernet says:

I remember the belly piercing story. That one was so sweet. Mine was, “A Tree Grows in Bay City.” Found on AO3 (What’s a shameless plug between friends.)

Ooh, gorgeous artwork! (Now I’m imagining an S&H biker AU *g*) Thanks, WF!
