My first view I thought Starsky’s dream was the white picket fence (brought to mind PMG’s family). I didn’t look closely, moved on to Hutch’s dream and instantly knew it was Minnesota and Hutch’s grandfather. I came back to see Rockefeller Center and Nicky…your art is such a gift, Suzan!
Choosing Rockefeller Center as the backdrop is inspired. The joy on their faces is so fabulous. And of course Starsk would have some red on his winter coat! Even Nicky joins in with the red hat. This really captures the spirit of the holiday. Thanks for all three!
Love this. Such a perfect NYC Christmas. Very festive and happy. Reminds me of a few years ago when hubby and I took the kids on Christmas Day to Rockefeller Center to see the Rockettes and the tree. We had closeup seats to the Rockettes, but it was impossible to see the tree unless you were 7 feet tall (or were on your dad’s shoulder, like little Davey), as that’s how crowded it was. But a magical experience, nonetheless. And that reminds me, they’re doing the tree-lighting ceremony tomorrow.
Thanks so much for bestowing the advent calendar with all your lovely gifts.
I’ll add my kudos. These are a wonderful set of holiday memories. My thanks to Suzan, Flamingo, Cyanne and all the elves for starting our month off with a warm snuggly feeling.
Angst junkie that I am, when I think of little Davey, I tend to focus on his papa’s death. This is such a lovely reminder that Starsky could have wonderful memories as well. Beautiful, Suzan!
What a beautiful dream! Happy memories of when his family was complete.
This too has so much detail. Starsky as the happy boy is super cute. Thanks for all your work for the advent calendar!

Terrific! The entire Starsky family including baby Nicky. They’re all so happy. (Mrs. S looks like Kamala Harris to me.) I am in awe of your talent.
A lovely Christmas dream – family all together.
