Like the musketeers best, but I can’t enlarge that one–just comes up revolutionaries, but still great. Our boys fit in everywhere!
Musketeers is my favorite period, too. I always wanted to see them dressed that way, so I had to do it myself. Thank you!
I noticed that one picture won’t enlarge!
Ack! You’re right! We’ll have to fix that. Thanks for letting us know.
Try it again. It should be fixed now (thanks, Cyanne!)
I like the musketeers best as well. But then the boys look good in anything. Thanks, Dawn.
I was hoping these will inspire some AU historical stories. Thanks, sweetling.
I love all the pictures I especially like the one of them as Revolutionaries, but they do look good in anything they wear.
Thank you, Laura. I could draw them in any fine men’s attire, but concentrated on two of my favorite historical periods.
Thank you for these fun cartoons. Gestures and clothes might change but the friendship is universal and timeless.
You’re so right. I can’t do portraits like Duluthgirl and Anachron but I did study to be a theatrical costumer, so I can draw historically correct clothes! lol
I like that Hutch’s clothes are a bit more sophisticated than Starsky’s ones. And Starsky… ahaha, his shirt is always unbuttoned! He’s so proud of his chest! Thanks.
You noticed. I’m so glad that was clear that Hutch always is a bit more of a peacock.

I’ve tried three times to reply to you, Silviabella. I am so glad you noticed that Hutch is always more of a peacock than Starsky. I had fun with his purple and blue Musketeer ensemble.
For some reason, I am having trouble replying to your comment, but I am so happy you noticed that Hutch is fancier than Starsky. I had fun with his purple and blue Musketeer ensemble.
Oh, that was very clear. Even as cop Hutch doesn’t wear simple jeans, no! He wears corduroys because he is a stylish guy. π
So great, Dawn! I like the hats! π it is funny that Starsky is always unbuttoned!
Thank you. I can’t do faces like you, but I can do clothes. π Maybe there will be a few Musketeer or Revolutionary war stories now.
How cute! I love Hutch with his ‘stache. Nice work, D. You made me smile.
Had to include the ‘stach in some era! Thanks, babe.
Love your drawings!!!
I like the Revolutionaries best and it’s so nice when they’re holding hands!!!
BTW – I never had the idea that Hutch would be more of a peacock.
;D
I tried to have them touching in some way in every picture. π
Oh, cool–I like these! The clothes are, indeed, gorgeous, but then so too are the guys!
Yeah, Musketeers for me, but really it’s the leather… *g*
I know, the leather—yeah. Leather is difficult to draw.
Hey! This is great! You know- You should do a full cartoon story with them, Dawn!
A full story–wow, that would take some planning. Thanks!
Lovely drawings, Dawn! I love the revolutionaries…
Thank you! I like a man in tight pants, whatever era.
Aw, cute! I love that Starsky’s chest hair peeks through in each era π Nice job, Dawn!
It’s tradition! lol
