I am an eye person and I really enjoy drawing eyes, capturing the look, making eyes express emotions. And these guys have stunning eyes (plus Starsky’s amazing eyelashes) so it’s a pleasure.

I love Starsky hugging the stuffing out of his Blond Blintz. I love Hutch grabbing Starsky’s arm like he never wants to let go. I love that they snuggle together naked, under the blanket. So much to love! Such closeness, comfort, and happiness! Their bright eyes say it all. (And as always, I marvel at the inky soft velvet of Starsky’s hair. I want to touch it.) I wanted to show their love, to draw something sweet, kind of innocent -but not really innocent; they are very naked under the blanket 😉
Starsky is lovingly holding Hutch and Hutch is not letting go of him (never). You can see the pressure marks on Starsky’s upper arm caused by Hutch’s big thumb. Poor babe! 😀
You know I adore drawing/painting Starsk’y hair and I really enjoy myself but I have lots of problems when it comes to the big blond beauty. I think that working on Starsky’s curls has a very relaxing effect on me. A bit like if I was stroking it (I want that too!)

Love this! Hope you’ll continue to draw more S/H slash. I really love Hutch’s wispy hair and the way his thumb is pressing on Starsky’s arm. They look really cozy and comfortable together. I love the beautiful detailed snowflake, too!

Hutch’s hair is one of the most difficult things for me to draw. I’m never happy with it it so it’s amazing that you liked it.
Hutch’s thumb was another little detail that I hoped it helped to express their unbreakable, strong bond.
