I wanted to let you know I’m doing these every day (so far). Love puzzles and it’s especially nice with those pretty boys. This one is kind of… unusual. What are they doing? Sacrificing gingerbread people? LOL!

I think this one was a bit harder as it was taller rather than wider. The detail didn’t stand out as great for me on the puzzle website (at least not as good as here.) Great pic though. Christmas-y despite the Satan cloaks. Red color, cute white pups, stained glass… ah! And it’s a PUZZLE!

For those wondering what the story is here and why S&H are wearing Satanist cloaks…
The boys decide to get away for a winter weekend at a cozy cabin in the woods. It’s a romantic setting with all the snow, the warm fireplace and glowing lights.
They hear a noise outside and look out the window, where they see two beautiful wolf pups frolicking in the snow. A plump sparrow is twittering a song as he sits on a tree stump wooing his lover.
Starsky, inspired by the animals outside, decides to get frisky as a puppy and smooches his lips as he attempts to mimic the sounds of the sparrow as he serenades his lover. Hutch, loving the attention, breaks out into a grin, and if you look closely, you can see a rosy pink blush on his cheeks.
As for the red cloaks… that’s anyone’s guess. Red for Christmas? Satanic cosplay? They chase each other around the cabin in a mating ritual, pretending to be Torinos? Of course, they’re completely naked underneath the cloaks, so they won’t be wearing them much longer.

OK. I’m going with them pretending to be Torinos because the mental image of Hutch going vroom vroom and chasing Starsky while Starsky goes vroom vroom and runs around is too delicious to pass up! But of course he’s going to let himself be caught quite easily. Hutch has already shed his cloak and when Starsky asks why, he says he’s pretending he’s decided to be his LTD instead of the Torino. Starsky scoffs and says that there’s no way Hutch’s car would ever catch his car. Hutch just smiles and says, just did! as he takes Starsky down on the floor (don’t worry, there’s a nice plush rug there) right in front of the fireplace.

My first thought as I read the lovely scene was… Are the cute little wolf pups gonna eat the plump sparrow? Cause it’s winter and food can get scarce. (Clearly, my blood-thirsty, action-loving personality has control right now. Let me just push her back into the corner… Or maybe I’m just hungry and am projecting my feelings on the little pups?)

Catching up, loved this puzzle. I just read today’s story about Christmas at an AFrame at Big Bear the two tie together! Thank you!
Just a couple of innocent choir boys getting ready to sing midnight Mass. Starsky purses his lips to whistle the opening note. Hutch smirks because the key is wrong. He turns to look at Starsky and realizes that was the plan all along. Framed by the window, a kiss is given and joyfully received.
And the 2 dogs. That’s Hutch on the left. 😉
